Hi there, I’m Dr Brett!

Chiropractic has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Michigan, I received regular chiropractic care from a number of wonderful chiropractors, and from an early age I came to appreciate it as an important part of looking after my health and wellbeing.

During my teenage years, I became even more aware of the role chiropractic played in helping me feel and function at my best, particularly through sport, study and the everyday demands of life. Seeing the positive impact it had on both me and my family inspired me to pursue chiropractic as a career.

I completed my Bachelor of Science before going on to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2010. Since then, I have had the privilege of caring for people across all stages of life.

Today, I am proud to own and continue growing Breathe Chiropractic alongside a wonderful team. My passion lies in helping families and children feel supported, understood and confident in their health. I particularly love creating a welcoming environment where people feel at ease, where parents feel heard, and where children can feel safe and comfortable.

For me, chiropractic is about far more than managing discomfort. It is about supporting the relationship between the brain, nervous system and body, helping people better understand their health, and empowering them to take an active role in their wellbeing.

It is incredibly rewarding to see the difference thoughtful, personalised care can make in someone’s life, and I feel very fortunate to do this work every day.

Hi there, I’m Dr Kate

I’m a chiropractor with a particular interest in caring for kids and families, and helping parents better understand the role the nervous system plays in everyday life.

I especially enjoy working with families navigating big feelings, busy minds, sensory overwhelm and the many challenges that can come with growing up in a very busy world.

I’m PX Docs certified and use CLA INSiGHT technology as part of my assessment process, including measures such as heart rate variability.

My own chiropractic journey began in my early twenties after experiencing some sports injuries and discovering chiropractic care for myself. That experience sparked an interest in how the body works and adapts, and ultimately led me to Melbourne, where I studied chiropractic at RMIT. After studying and spending some time practising interstate, I eventually made my way home to Tasmania and settled in Launceston.

Outside the practice, I’m a dedicated plant mum, fun aunt and pickleball enthusiast. You’ll also find a suspicious number of unicorns in my adjusting space, an ever-growing collection of squishy toys and a firm belief that connecting with a kid comes before asking them to hop on the table.

Demi brings many years of practice management experience across allied health, which she freely admits is probably the least interesting thing about her.

She is passionate about creating the kind of positive culture that reaches beyond the team to every wonderful human they are lucky enough to help. She also loves finding clever ways to make work simpler and more efficient, because good systems mean less time wrestling with processes and more time for peopling.

A devoted enthusiast of AI and its potential to do good, Demi has even affectionately named Breathe’s own internal AI “Bones,” because apparently no workplace tool is safe from being adopted and given a personality.

Outside the practice, you’ll usually find her running around after her son, and occasionally her husband too, enjoying a coffee or cheeky wine at her parents’ café, Samuel Pepy’s, or wandering through shops in search of books and whimsical objects that spark a wee bit more joy.

She is a big believer that life should be well organised, warmly lived and contain at least a few things purchased for no defensible reason beyond, “Look how delightful it is.”

Izzy joined our team in 2026 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Architecture at UTAS. With a love for architecture, art and anything creative, she’s always enjoyed designing, making and finding inspiration in the world around her. When she’s not studying or at work, Izzy loves playing sport, getting outdoors, and heading off camping with her partner, Lucas. One of Izzy’s favourite parts of being at Breathe is spending time with the kiddos who come into the practice—whether it’s keeping them entertained, having a chat, or helping them feel at home.
