Lower Back Pain
Lower back pain has a habit of making very ordinary things feel surprisingly difficult.
It might appear suddenly after lifting, twisting or doing something your body was not quite ready for. Or it may build gradually, showing up as stiffness in the morning, discomfort after sitting, difficulty bending or that familiar ache you have learned to work around.
There are many things that can contribute to lower back pain. Muscles, joints, discs, nerves, previous injuries, physical load and the way your body is moving can all form part of the picture. Sometimes there is one obvious contributor; often, it is a combination.
That is why we look beyond simply where it hurts. We want to understand when it started, what makes it better or worse, how it is affecting your everyday life and how your body is moving as a whole.
If your lower back has started making too many decisions for you, it may be time to take a closer look at what is going on.
