Neck Pain and Stiffness
Neck pain and stiffness can make simple things like driving, working, exercising or even turning your head feel more difficult than they should.
Sometimes it follows an awkward movement, injury or sudden increase in activity. Other times, it builds gradually alongside long periods at a desk, repetitive tasks or simply spending a lot of time in the same positions.
There are many things that can contribute to neck pain and stiffness. Muscles, joints, nerves, previous injuries, physical load and the way your neck and upper body are moving can all form part of the picture.
That is why we look beyond simply where it hurts. We want to understand when it started, what makes it better or worse, how it is affecting your everyday life and how your neck and upper body are moving as a whole.
If your neck has started limiting how comfortably you move through the day, it may be time to take a closer look at what is going on.
