Headaches and Migraines

Headaches have a way of taking up more space than they should.

Sometimes they are occasional and manageable. Other times, they start shaping your day — making it harder to concentrate, exercise, work, parent or simply feel like yourself.

Headaches can come from a number of different places, and they are not all the same. Some can be linked with tension, stiffness or changes in the way the neck is moving, while migraine is a more complex neurological condition with its own pattern of symptoms.

That is why the details matter. When did they start? How often do they happen? What do they feel like? Is your neck involved? What seems to bring them on, and what happens when they arrive?

We take the time to understand that pattern, assess what's happening and understand the bigger picture.

If headaches are starting to become part of the routine, it might be time to stop simply working around them and take a closer look.
